About Me
My name is Zoe Claudine and I live in Leigh on Sea, Essex. I have been running Claudine's Pet Services for over a year now and I thoroughly love it! I have been around animals all my life and I wouldn't have it any other way. My pets make my house a home and I know you must feel the same because you are here reading my site, looking for a perfect carer for your little buddies.
My first pet was Twitchy the rabbit, he was a handsome boy and I fell in love with him immediately. I have had two since - Snowy (yes he was v white) and Bugs (a beautiful lop-eared angora chap). I have had guinea pigs and bred 3 litters which was fantastic - they are born fully furry and ready for action.
I've also been lucky enough to have budgies, fish, hamsters, gerbils and cats. I have four cats at the moment. Holly is 8 (a total princess), Alfie (he is the breed Maine Coon and a total teddy bear) and my latest additions - Coco and Wilbur, makes four.
When I was made redundant from my job in the city, I decided to take time out to discover what I would really like to do next. During this time I became a volunteer at one of the RSPCA centres in my area. This is where I was introduced to these two new little chaps. They were the weakest in the three litters which had just been brought in - I offered to foster them. This entails giving animals lots of tlc, lots of feeds, visits to vets etc. After 1 week of looking after them, I knew I couldn't part with them and so we all live together now. All four get on 99% of the time.. food time is a busy time in the kitchen but I love it and I wouldn't change a thing.
I sponsor a dog at Dogs Trust, a cat at Cats Protection and give regular donations to WSPA and RSPCA. If I ever get fit enough I plan to run a half marathon and donate all proceeds to an animal charity - just need to keep running with the doggies in the park - which is the best form of exercise as it doesn't feel like exercise!
